God says..."Go into ALL the nations"...and they did! Meet our friends!

Yesterday we had the awesome pleasure of spending the afternoon with our dear friends in the Lord, the Henderson Family. Phil, Elin, Callie, and Elias. They are New Tribes Missionaries to Mozambique, Africa. They are home for another year on an extended furlough, and were in NH these next two weeks visiting with churches and friends. What a blessing that we got to spend that whole time with them! Glenn took the day off, and Martha came over and so did Brittany and our beautiful grand daughters, too!

Here is a recent family photo of the Hendersons while on their visit to Florida!

Jon and Elias! Jon reminded Elias exactly of his best friend in the tribe in Africa named Nametu?? (spelling) It was sooo cool!

Callie and Nicole hit it off greatly!

Grace enjoyed reading to Marlie! Marlie loved it, too!

Brittany and Annie enjoying the chatting around the table!

Phil explained to us some of the hardest parts of being a missionary in Africa!

special time for Maddie and Annie!

Some photos in the tribe!

sweet fellowship!

What an amazing blessing it was to us! Thank you Lord! And Thank you Henderson family for obeying God in this way!

You're Invited!

Rosie says..."Our pool is open and the water is soooo fine! Please come on over for a swim and enjoy great fellowship, and our clearest pool water ever! The other day the water was 79 degrees! Check it out!"

Hope to see you soon!

Candace means: One who possess contrition!

what is contrition you ask?? Well..the definition of contrition is:  true purpose of amendment, arising from a love of God for His own perfections. Who is Candace you ask??? Good question!

Candace is a sweet little 4 year old girl that God brought into our lives 2 weeks ago. She is such a little blessing! Her Mom is in a lot of trouble right now, and her Dad is terminally ill. Her Dad set about to try and find a family that would be willing to care for her due to his sickness. A friend of their family suggested us. So we said , "Yes", we are willing, Lord!" "You are in charge of the timing of it! It will have to be your perfect timing!" And we know that:

Psalm 107:41 Yet He sets the poor on high , far from affliction, And makes their families like a flock.

So we met Candace and spent time with her the very next day after meeting her Dad, then she came to church with us on Sunday, and then slept over Monday to Tuesday. She came for supper this past Thursday, and then will come to church with us on Sunday, and sleep over Sunday night, and stay for a few days next week. All the while we pray, and pray for God's will. Will you join us???

We even think she looks a little like Nicole and Rosie!

She fits in like a glove, and so we just pray that God will allow us to love on her and her Daddy and show Christ's love to them both, "for such a time as this!"

The Cutest Gardener Ever! (we think)

They will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display his glory!
Isaiah 61:3b

Have you heard of the Sunbonnet babies? It's a sweet book series written in the late 1800's. It's wonderful. Nicole used them as her learn to read books!

Well....we have our very own Sunbonnet baby! It's Rosalinda! The other day we were all out working in the garden and she just HAD to "help" us out! She donned Madelyn's sun hat, and went straight to work.

Isn't she just so precious???

So...what appears to be Rosie having fun in the "dirt"...

Actually translates to Rosie...

Playing in the manure that we used to fertilize our garden that day! Hmmmm....

But Rosie says..."It's okay Mommy, I smell just like sissy's peony! ....NOT!!! It was a beautiful day! Thank you Lord!
