Blueberry pickin' fun!

We are  blessed to live right down the road from a this wonderful blueberry farm. This year, Grace and Madelyn have started a small part time job with the farm. You pick blueberries and get .70 cents per pound. Last week they each made about $50.00. It's been a wonderful blessing! One day last week we all went to try it out! Even Rosie! The picking is wonderful and the fellowship was even better!

What a productive crew we were!! And such fun!!

4th of July and Family Fun and Fellowship!

We love to study faith and God's faithfulness to all in ALL circumstances!

On the 4th of July we enjoyed a picnic at Glenn's parents farm which we lovingly call Winslow Mountain!

We got to bring Great Grammy to the cook out. She hadn't been to the farm in a long time!

Rachel brought her hula hoops she made and has for sale. They were the hit of the day!

Glenn brought the go cart, though, and that was also a huge hit with the crowd!

Rachel enjoys some quiet time with Rosie!

Grace enjoys some quiet time with Rosie when we got home!
When given the choice, we always choose family!! It truly is a blessing from the Lord!

Madelyn Swan turns 17!!!----Wow!!

Yesterday, July 17th, our precious daughter Maddie turned 17! Can you say...."we can't believe it's possible?"....Amazing! We had a lovely day!
On the menu for breakfast for the birthday girl:
Giant chocolate chip pancake
Sausage links
Strawberries
Grape Juice
Coffee
Madelyn asked if we could go to the ocean, and so we went to Fort Foster. We'd never been there before. My nephew Gabriel is staying with us right now, and it was one of his favorite places when he lived in NH, and he suggested it. What a blessing! It was a wonderful choice and a beautiful day there!
On the menu for lunch for the birthday girl (and all of us)
Moe's subs
chips
lemon water
homemade ice cream stop on the way home.
Then great Grammy came that evening for supper. The supper menu was:
Taco Salad
Mint chocolate chip ice cream pie. Yummy!!!
Here is a photo shoot of our day:
