We started our day with Darrell and Louisa Lowman on a double date. We drove around Portsmouth in their daughter Jessica's vw bug! That was soooo cool! Turns out, the VW bug was both mine and Louisa's first cars in our younger days!
We went to Savers in Newington, and then to Trader Joe's and Kohl's, and then the Habitat for Humanity Re-store, and then the Texas Long Horn Restaurant for lunch. It was a wonderful morning and early afternoon, and we thought it would end with an ice cream treat at Frekey's Dairy Bar in Chichester. Louisa said as we were licking our ice cream cones..."Hey...let's take a walk since we've been in the car all day!"...so we walked up toward the park, and then were proceeded to be totally surprised by well over 100 people all waiting for us and clapping! Wow!
Now let me tell you all something. I'm totally hard to surprise. Aren't most Moms of large families. I mean..seriously...we have to know what is happening at ALL times! Well....they totally pulled it off, and it was such a blessing!
What a wonderful day, and what amazing attention to detail! We feel blessed and loved beyond measure! We love you guys!! Thank you ALL sooooo much!!

“When your children ask their fathers in times to come, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 22 then you shall let your children know, ‘Israel passed over this Jordan on dry ground.’ 23 For the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan for you until you passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up for us until we passed over, 24 so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the Lord is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever.”[c]
These photos are a monument of love and restoration! Thank you Lord!!!!
