One or the Other!

We can confess one thing or the other. We can talk about the problems we are going through (which is what we usually tend to do), or we can choose to confess that God is with us.

God gives us a WONDERFUL promise in Isaiah 43:2: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall NOT overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall NOT be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you."

God promises that when we go through these deep waters that He will be with us. When we are enduring the fiery trial, He says, "You will NOT be burned." That means we need to change our confession to "Father, I thank You that You are with me in this trial. You are bigger than this problem and I trust You!"

This truly describes our day yesterday! Truly. It was hard, and yet God showed Himself so faithful throughout the entire day! Thank you God! I'm so sorry that I doubted you! Thank you!

  1. Does the place you’re called to labor
Seem so small and little known?
It is great if God is in it,
And He’ll not forget His own.

Let us all strive to remember this very thing!

Scripture Verses Head to Toe!!

This past year at our homeschool conference in NH, we enjoyed the Boyer family greatly. We purchased some of their materials, and recently added to our collection with some more. One of the free items to download on their website was a really cool Scripture head to toe print out!

We took the verses, cut them out, traced Nicole's body and then had a great time putting the verses near the body parts that they speak about! It was a wonderful reminder of  Romans 12: 1-5 which says:

I appeal to you therefore, brothers,[a] by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.[b] Do not be conformed to this world,[c] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.[d]

Gifts of Grace

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members,[e] and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
