Okay...so can I tell you how much I'm LOVING the menu plan??

This has been such a blessing! Here is the schedule:
Monday night supper:  Edward
Tuesday night supper:  Grace
Thursday night supper:  Elisha
Saturday night supper
and church lunch on Sunday:  Madelyn!

Wow...this has been incredible! Thank you to my friend Lori who encouraged me with the idea that her children 10 and up each take a night to plan for, prepare, cook, and clean up a meal! I finally put it into practice here at the farm last week, and it's been amazing!!

Edward reminded me that I forgot to take photos of him last night. Sorry bud. You'll have to just picture it!  He made barbequed pork roast slow cooked in the crock pot all day,  which he turned into pulled pork sandwiches, brown rice, and lovely little individual salads.  It was yummy according to the gang!

*Note:  I'm on day 5 of a rebooting juice fast after watching the movie:  fat, sick, and nearly dead. I HIGHLY recommend the movie! Anyway...for my story on that...that is a whole other blog post all in itself! Great things are happening for me so far! I'll let you know! I've had quite an evacuation (if you know what I mean) :) :). Anyway..can't wait for my weigh in at Weight Watcher's this coming Thursday! Yeah!!
You can watch the movie  here

Okay...so anyway...I haven't been able to taste the wonderful meals, but just the time savings for me and the encouragement for me, has been amazing! Thank you kiddos!

So...tonight...it was Grace's night. Take a peek!!! On the menu:
Note on the recipe:  A Grandma favorite! It must be good!

The recipe called for canned biscuits, but Grace made her own using whole wheat flour!

Okay..so I just HAD to add these...Rosie had a bath in the middle of Grace's supper prep while stuff was in the oven! Perfect timing, right?? So as you can imagine...the kitchen was quite a hub of activity!

aiming to please...Grace even made Madelyn gluten free biscuits on the left, and she made herself a dairy free casserole on the right!
fresh out of the oven!

Serving up Daddy's plate first as always!

The meal got rave reviews from everyone, and will definitely be given 5 stars as a repeat option in the future! Great job Grace! Thank you soooo much!
Elisha added to the meal greatly by making some healthy peanutbutter balls. Just 4 ingredients. All natural peanut butter, honey, dry milk, and oat bran!

Madelyn and Grace sing make me a servant.

Maddie and Grace always sing a duet. This is a good one!

Nicole Aaliyah sings Jesus Loves Me

Nicole decided she wanted to sing Jesus loves me all by herself today! It was great!

The Winslow Family Singers

The kids singing Amazing Gracae at the nursing home! Enjoy!

We Celebrate Happy New Year at the Nursing Home!

"May God's richest blessings be upon you, as you seek to keep your eyes on Him."  (wisdom from Grace!)

We went to our monthly nursing home ministry today and had a wonderful time of fellowship. There were at least 12 residents in attendance today, which was such a blessing! Another family has been joining us for the last 2 months, and they have been such an encouragement to us all! This audience is so precious and very forgiving. They truly are a wonderful group of folks that allow us to come into their home each month! We love it! Psssst...next month, Glenn is going to lead the message! Yeah!!!

Here are some photos and then I'll also put up a few videos, too, on another post!

We all work to get the room set up and welcome the residents!

We've started something new...all of the children and some other family members go up front to sing the hymns. Madelyn loves to accompany on her violin!

Madelyn and Elisha play "Be Thou My Vision"...this is Glenn's favorite hymn!

Edward played a Spanish song from his piano book!

Emily also loves to play the piano each time.

Precious Nicole told us that she wanted to sing Jesus Loves Me as a solo. She did a GREAT job!

Madelyn taught Romans 6:23! She did a great job! When she asked for 2 volunteers to help hold up the book, these were her 2 helpers! One big, one small! Precious!

I entertained little Rosie in the back of the room. She had fun!

Just had to show you Rosie's shirt she wore today. It's a great message, and perfect for her!

This is Rosie's friend Hannah. Hannah will be 2 in July and just started walking within the last few weeks! They are really cute together!

Just had to include a photo of Rosie's birthday hat I just finished making her today. It's a cupcake! It came out really cute!
So I'm sure you can see why we love this ministry so much, and we leave church early, and forgo having lunch with our fellowship in order to make it from Lebanon, Maine area to Epsom by 2:30 the last Sunday of every month! Hey...maybe we'll see you all there sometime soon! We'd love it!

Thank you God for the Provision!

Today I'm thanking God for the provision of hay. We needed hay for our goats, and we had some money come in unexpectedly from the sale of some things farm related, and it was just what we needed for enough hay to take us through the rest of the winter! Thank you God! What fun to praise the Lord and watch while my family put the hay in the loft for storage! Rosie even LOVED watching the action! I wish I had taken a video of her. It was soooo funny! She was hollering at everyone as though she was giving them directions of how to do it! Sweet!
