"So then faith cometh by hearing ,and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17

We had another wonderful visit at the nursing home this past Sunday. The folks sure love seeing the kids!! This month Dan and Sharon DeHart led the time. They did a great job!!

Above is Dan and his "daughter"

Boy does Jonnie love Patrick!!!!

Here are Abby squared (Abby L. and Abbie T.), and Maddie having fun!!

Maddie's Dream Come True

Madelyn has wanted a club house since we moved here. Glenn agreed to give her the top floor of the shed. Here she is checking out her new "humble" abode. She and Grace plan to hang their hammock up there. Glenn is going to give them electricity, so they have visions of a small fridge, and maybe even a TV/VCR...we'll see!! Can you tell how excited Maddie is??

Spring Time Fun!!!!

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!!

We have a touch of Spring fever today!! It's 56 degrees here....and the next best thing to the beach is.....the sandbox!! Yeah!! The kids had a blast in it today!!

Something 'EGGciting"!!!!

I DON'T KNOW IF THESE PICTURES DO IT JUSTICE, BUT ONE OF OUR CHICKENS LAID THE BIGGEST EGG WE'VE EVER SEEN!!! I'TS MORE THAN TWICE AS BIG AS ALL THE OTHERS!!! ALL THE GIRLS COULD SAY TO THAT WAS...."OUCH!!!"

Brittany---The "old" working gal!!!

"Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded." 2 Chronicles 15:7

Brittany has enjoyed going to work with Glenn one day per week. It's such a great time for them to spend together. Britt has been able to learn some new things. Glenn has discovered that he enjoys the extra hands to make the work load lighter. On this day, they were having fun with sheetrock and sanding the joint compound!! Brittany was never so excited to take a shower and "wash that gray right outta her hair!!" She now has all of her money saved for driver's ed, and also for her fee to take her driver's test!! Good job Brittany!!

Fun with our Friends the Lambert's!!

We were blessed to have our friends Abigail and Max Lambert with us overnight while their mom and dad celebrated their 10th anniversary. Abby is 9 and Max is 5. They had fun collecting the sap with us, collecting eggs, and making our meals. Here they are helping us to make a pizza for lunch. They loved having waffles with our own syrup on them for breakfast. We also made our own juice...carrot, apple, orange, and canteloupe!! Thanks for coming over Max and Abby!!!

Studious Jonnie Boy...Ready for School!!

Today Maddie decided to try her old glasses on Jon..."He's all set for school now, Mom", she said!! He does look rather scholarly, don't you think???

Britt has her sweet sixteen stamping fun!!!

"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." John 15:11

On Saturday, 3/11 Brittany got to have her sweet sixteen stamping party. She invited her buddies, Cassie Thorne, Leah Jackson, and Hillary Annance. I got to invite one of my buddies, too...Mrs. Thorne!! Tina Marcotte came and did what is called a 10/10/20. You make 10 cards, (supposedly in 10 minutes each), for $20.00 per person. It was tons of fun!! (although it took us more like 3.5 hours instead of 1.5 hours). Brittany chose to have chinese food for supper with everyone!! We all had a great time!! (I even got to make 10 cards of my own!!) Happy Birthday Brittany!!!

More Fun With Jon.........Long hair or short hair..you decide!!

"Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift." 2 Corinthians 9:15

We love to laugh here at the Winslow home. So...with that in mind, of course we had to try Grace's new fake hair on little Jonnie Boy.....We all had a huge belly laugh. Hope it brighten's your day, too!!

Grace Receives an Early Birthday Present!!!

Below is a photo of Grace and her sister Magnalie when they visited us last year. When they came, Magnalie had some really neat fake hair clipped on. It looked sooo real. Grace loved it. Well, Kathy, Magnalie's mom offered to send Grace some at some point. Grace picked this headband wig from a catalog. She just received it today, and boy does she love it!! It's for special occasions and such!! It's actually real hair...it's beautiful!!!
