A Little Time Away equals BIG Blessings ALL the way around!

What a blessing Glenn and I had. We were able to get away to one of my favorite spots, the ocean! What an amazing gift God gave us when He created the vast seas! Brittany and her family came over and stayed with the kiddos here, and we were able to get away to York Harbor. It was WONDERFUL with a capital "W"! WOW!!!! It truly did us great to get away. We figured out the last time was about 20 years ago! Take a peek at our precious time!

1st stop...a bit of banking to help fund our trip!!!

We dined for the first time at Wild Willy's burger joint in Rochester. It was actually REALLY good! Hadn't had an actual burger in a LOOOONNNGG time! Yum!

We checked into the Inn around 3:00 Wednesday afternoon.

We were warmly welcomed, and it was very cozy!

Once we checked in, we walked across the street to York Beach and had a lovely time strolling around the various parks.

It truly was a glorious day!

We then returned to our room and got ready for our 5:45 dinner reservation right at the Inn. We had a wonderful view of the ocean from our table.

Glenn chose steak tips, and I chose the chicken picata. We each had a salad, too. Our meal also came with these lovely sundaes for dessert! It was elegant and delicious!

With our check came this homemade toffee for each of us! Yum!!! Such amazing attention to detail!

I took this picture for Grace. Each of the plates and cups bore the Inn's logo and name. It was very nice!

Just outside of the Inn was this lovely gazebo. We did a self timer photo shoot! It was fun!

I just LOVE this photo!!! Such love abounds 25 years later!!! I love you Glenn!

After dinner we drove to Long Sands beach and enjoyed a wonderful walk in the moonlight!

Back in our room that evening We bought a deck of cards to play some games. That was fun!

Glenn took this photo inside the Inn to show to a customer.

The next morning, after a leisurely breakfast buffet, we headed back to Long Sands for a walk.

It was a great day for kite flying!

We spotted this guy using a kite powered bike! It was really cool!

We then went to Nubble Light Park to see the light house. It was a bit cloudy and foggy, but beautiful!

We then did some outlet shopping in Kittery, and then our last stop was lunch and Kittery Trading Post!

Glenn was excited to enter this raffle!

Took this for Grace! She LOVES Starbucks!

We had our lunch Thursday at Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery! It was awesome!

We headed home to a well cared for crew, and we were refreshed and renewed by our time away! It was such a blessing!!!
