Introducing the "official" Rosalinda Marguerite Winslow!!!

"Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." James 1:27

"And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me."
Matthew 18:5

Our beloved Rosie's adoption was made final today and we got to see our friend, Judge Cassavechia, yet again. He said..."I remember you all. I call you the U.N. family!" and he chuckled when he said it.

We are so blessed by Rosie's entire adoption process. It's incredible to see God's hand in the entire thing!

Here's a peek back to March....Remember how tiny she was???

Here are the photos from today!! It was an amazing day! We had the adoption hearing. We were joined by our dear friends the Lowman family. We are groupies for each other's adoption hearings! We then headed to Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Nashua for a lovely lunch with our friends! It was wonderful! Have you ever eaten at a Chick-fil-A?? It's a fantastic Christian restaurant chain that brings new meaning to the word fast food! We placed our order...all 17 of us, and then we found our table and they brought it all over to us! They did that for our dessert, too! They also come over and see if you'd like any drinks refilled as well. They allow one free re-fill. The customer service there puts some sit down restaurants to shame! Right now it's the only one in NH, but we are hoping that they bring more in. It's a great place! One of the wait staff was so taken by us and Rosie's adoption story that she brought over a stuffed Chick-fil-A cow for Rosie as a gift. It was soooo touching!

For me, the day was perfect! The only thing missing was my precious Mom! Oh how she would have loved to celebrate with us today! She LOVED all types of celebrations! I miss her sooooo much, and I can't believe she's already been gone a month. There have already been so many events she would have been at if she could! I dedicate this day to you, Mom. I know you are smiling from heaven that your namesake...Rosalinda has become an official part of our family. It was what you supported greatly, and what you prayed for so many months! I love you dear sweet Mom!

Waiting for the hearing.

Inside the court room.

After the adoption was final...a photo op with the judge.

We love you so much dear sweet Rosalinda! We can't imagine our life without you!
We are so excited to see how God adds to our family next! They say they are cheaper by the dozen, right??

Love to you all!

Congratulations!! This is such a happy celebration.

We do love Chick-FilA, too. In fact, we have several of them out here in NM and our closest franchise store is owned by members of our church family so most of the youth group works there! It's so much fun to go there and always have familiar faces behind the counter and out on the floor.

Love their value system and that they play Christian music, etc. It's awesome.

Congratulations to you and Rosie and your whole family:)

I hate to admit how often we eat something from Chick-fil-A. There's one just down the street from our church. Here in Virginia, they're everywhere. They cater (for free) our Victory Home graduations. We love 'em!
