A Note of Encouragement from my daughter Madelyn!

Just had to share this with you all. Madelyn forwarded this to me today in an email, and I just love it!!

Some days you will try your best
and it will not feel like enough.
Some days the words you want to heal will hurt instead.
Some days you will question everything you do
and why you do it.
This doesn't mean you're a failure.
Or you should quit.
Or God is mad at you.
It just means this...
All of your days you will be human.
All of your days you will grow but not reach perfection.
All of your days there will be grace enough for you.
Keep going, Mom.
Keep trying.
Keep moving forward.
I know it's hard on some days. But you are more than those days.
And at the end of all your days you will hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
That will make it all worthwhile.
So close your eyes and remember you are loved.
Today. Tomorrow. Forever.

Thank you Madelyn, you are precious and you continue to touch my heart! Thank you, too, for the awesome meal you prepared for everyone tonight! Wow...what a blessing! As I mentioned earlier, each of the 4 older children has picked a day of the week that they will plan for, cook, serve, and clean up from a meal of their choice. We've already enjoyed tacos with homemade tortillas from Grace on Tuesday. Butternut squash soup, and homemade bread, and black bean chocolate cake from Elisha on Thursday. On tonight's menu courtesy of Madelyn was:
Parmesean Chicken
Broccoli with cheese sauce
Roasted Potatoes
Oh soooo good! Take a peek!

Thank you dear sweet Madelyn! I love you so much!
