A day in the life of the Grace Abounding Farm Homeschool!

Just a quick peek into an average day in the life of our homeschool! What a blessing to be completing our 13th year of homeschooling!

Grace doing her one on two time with Jon and Nicole! They love this when the older kids spend time with them in our schedule! Grace is our reading specialist and works with them both on their read alouds and also she reads to them if there is time, too. She also has taught them the pledge of allegiance, too!
Above, Madelyn is spending time on the laptop putting finishing touches on her newspaper. Edward is doing his scheduled seat work.

Our day starts early with a 5:30 wake up call.
Morning chores
Family Bible and Prayer time with Daddy before he leaves for work.
Breakfast
Read alouds (we are doing 4 right now. A character story, A missionary story, a history book, and a Moody series book) No matter what age the kids are they LOVE read alouds!
Group work on our wisdom books.
Then at 9:00 it's scheduled school work for everyone. I meet with Jon and Nicole if they need help.
10:00 is my one/one time with Madelyn and Grace's time with the kids.
10:30 is my one/one time with Grace and Elisha's time with the littles.
11:00 is my one/one time with Edward and Madelyn's time with the kids.
11:30 is my one/one time with Elisha, and Edwards time with the kids.

Where is Rosie during all of this?? Well...she usually takes a small morning nap, and then she's been doing really well in her porta crib right in the living room playing with her toys and reading books
