She's got the Joy--Joy--Joy--Joy--down in her heart for sure!

Just had to share this precious video of Zoey and Glenn and I from our visit this afternoon!

Oh how beautiful she is! I love seeing that smile, what a blessing. Praying so hard for you guys and for sweet Zoey... don't know if you knew this but I prayed for her and blogged about her since she was first listed with Reece's Rainbow... I was so excited when I found out she had a family! You guys are just what she needs. Praying hard for her to hold on until you can come back for her, and for Christ's love to shine through you to the people in her country, so that they might understand what it is to love the orphan.

Out of curiosity, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to, can she not breathe through her nose? I noticed her breathing a lot through her mouth. And I didn't think her one ear was so big in her first photos - did I just miss that, or is it a new development? Related to her SNs, or is it swollen or hurt or something? I can't help but worry - I just watched this awful video someone posted in the RR group of Russian orphans being beaten in the orphanage so my mind instantly went to 'did someone hurt her?' Poor precious darling. Did they give you any reason for why she is so tiny? I mean, I'm pretty sure I know the reason, but usually the orphanage staff won't admit to it... they make something up. Again, you don't have to answer my questions if it's too personal or you can't share, just curious because I love her too, although I'm sure not as much as her mommy and daddy do! God bless you all and THANK YOU for doing God's work to save the orphan!

Praying for Tiny Zoey that you may get her home soon. She is beautiful and her eyes really do show you how much she is aware of. I am sure that she will blossom in a family! I will keep you in my prayers daily!

Hi Ellieliz!
Thank you for your comment. Well...she gets fed 8 ounces of food 5 times per day. Actually more food in quantity than our almost 2 year old eats..BUT...it's not well balanced enough. This coupled with the fact that she is one of 200 children in her orphanage, she doesn't get nurtured and loved on like a family would. Truly in the last 3 days, her little body has softened and we've seen amazing things happen and this is just us holding her and loving her for 3 hours per day! Just imagine! Thank you for your prayers! We truly covet them!

Hi there Ellieliz! feel free to email me, too! winslow6_wp@tds.net! Well..we are praying to be able to expedite Zoey's homecoming at least, if not both children's due to Zoey's physical health. It will all depend on how quickly things can pass through our government and the Bulgarian government, too. So please pray for a quick, quick, process. Praying it's sometime very early next year! Yes, she loves to look at me and Glenn, too! They say she is blind, but we don't think she is! How could they really tell? Truly, truly, she's not much at all of that kind of interaction with anyone that she's had with us! The combination of holding her, and singing to her and talking to her and hugging her is new for her, we believe. God reserved it all just for us!!! What a gift from God!
